Albendazole is a broad spectrum synthetic anthelmintic that is used on cows, sheep and goats with activity against gastrointestinal and respiratory worms including adult stages of liver fluke at a higher dosage. It has broad spectrum anthelmintic activity. It is indicated for gastro-intestinal parasitic infections from roundworms, hookworms, pinworms, whipworms, threadworms and tapeworms.
